Pathways to Freedom
Coming Home Should Feel Like Home
Pathways to Freedom is ADRC’s reentry program built on the belief that healing and safety come from the community. We stand with those returning home from incarceration, offering care, connection, and concrete resources rooted in our values. Coming back shouldn’t mean starting over alone. From hygiene items and clothing to legal aid and trusted referrals, we help you reconnect, rebuild, and reclaim your future—on your terms and with your community beside you.
Why Reentry Programs Matter
Coming home after incarceration can feel isolating, heavy with barriers, and short on support. Pathways to Freedom exists to shift that reality. Rooted in mutual aid, collective care, and the belief that everyone deserves to rebuild their life with dignity, autonomy, and power.
What The Reentry Program Does
Welcome Home Supplies
Our starter kits provide both practical tools and emotional support. Each one includes:
- Hygiene essentials like deodorant, toothpaste, and sanitary items
- Comfortable clothing like socks and T-shirts
- A resource guide to local services for housing, employment, health care, and more
- Information on how to access our Free Legal Clinic for record expungement, rights restoration, and fingerprint clearance

Our Commitment to Solidarity
We don’t do this work out of charity, we do it out of solidarity. These Welcome Home Packets are a tangible expression of our belief that you are more than your record and that your future deserves to be built with care, support, and opportunity.
